Knut Schüttemeyer retired from Volkswagen A.G. after a 30-year career of increasing senior management responsibility. When he stepped down, Knut was worldwide head of the Service Division for all Volkswagen brands. 

By virtue of his extensive experience and his international visibility in the industry, Mr. Schüttemeyer is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences.
 

Berthold (“Bertel”) Schmitt conceived of Sinamotive with Knut Schüttemeyer after a 32 year career in advertising and marketing.

During approximately 30 years of this career, Volkswagen A.G. was Bertel’s most important corporate account and Knut, in his role as a senior Volkswagen executive, was
Bertel’s most important client.

Schmitt’s advertising and marketing career touched many corners of the industry with a special focus on automotive products and services.

 

Ken Zalk  recently concluded a 16 year career with Jefferies & Company, a major publicly traded U.S. investment banking firm.  In his last position, Mr. Zalk was Executive Vice President responsible for proprietary trading of international equities.

Mr. Zalk shared responsibility for a portfolio of Asian equities managed from Singapore and had broad exposure to the international capital markets. Mr. Zalk also did a number of private direct investments.

Carl Sangree is the Managing Director of Rock Capital, an investment and advisory firm.

Following a successful Wall Street career, Mr. Sangree has worked with the management teams of many early stage high  growth companies and has himself co-founded two companies. He has beenvery involved in new energy and automotive technologies.

Larry Zalk is the Founder of Falmouth Capital and Miller Ventures LLC. Falmouth Capital is a hedge fund pursuing multi-strategy equity investment.

Prior to establishing Falmouth and Miller, Mr. Zalk has been an NASD registered broker and principal with Star Securities where he was the Founding Partner, Credit Suisse First Boston where he was an Executive Vice President in High Net Worth Equities, and at L.F. Rothschild, Unterberg, Towbin where he was a Partner. During his career, Mr. Zalk has invested in and/or organized more than 100 venture or startup equity financings.

Nathalie has worked full time with Bertel in Beijing since the inception of the company.

Prior to the creation of Sinamotive, Ms. Zhang managed another export business founded by a senior German executive.

Ms. Zhang has proven herself as an outstanding facilitator. She brings vast knowledge and excellent contacts in the field of exporting and supplier relations. She speaks fluent English and has the demonstrated knack for getting things done in China.
